Stephen J. Binz is an award-winning author of over 40 books, biblical scholar, popular speaker, and psychotherapist. His many books include the new series Ancient-Future Bible Study (Brazos Press), Lectio Divina Bible Study (OSV), Threshold Bible Study (Twenty-Third), and Conversing with God in Scripture series (Word Among Us). Following graduate degrees at the Gregorian University, the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, and Hebrew University in Jerusalem, he has developed Bible studies in the Church for over two decades and has offered numerous study trips and pilgrimages to biblical lands. Binz speaks frequently at churches and national conferences in the area of biblical studies, Christian spirituality, and psycho-social personal development.
